OvalPhoto makes it easy to take a photo with an elegant oval frame. This app doesnt just apply the frame to an ordinary rectangular photo. You actually compose your photo inside an oval outline which is overlayed on the camera preview. By tilting your iPhone, you can change the shape of the oval from long and narrow to a perfect circle. (Technically speaking, changing the eccentricity of an ellipse.)
The widest oval can squeeze into diagonally opposite corners, giving a slight increase in the field of view from 54° to 59°. This lets you capture slightly wider or taller subjects.
When you have taken an oval photo, the app provides handy tools to enhance and share it:-
• Set a black or white background.
• Convert your photo to monochrome, toned with sepia or a tint of your choice.
• Mail your photo.
• Save your photo to the Camera Roll.
From the Camera Roll, you can use the Photos app to Message or Tweet photos to your friends.
The oval format is ideal for portraits. It hides the background and accentuates the face.
